Indian Traditional Saree Designs

Sarees have been a symbol of womanhood and dignity in the Indian subcontinent. People belonging to all ages and social classes wear sarees on a day-to-day basis for ease and comfort. Sarees have even made their way into uniforms of multiple schools and jobs.A saree is a signature of womanhood and is a type of clothing that is considered extremely feminine. When walking on the street, you may see men and women wearing pants and a t shirt but a saree is an article of clothing that is specifically reserved for women. Sarees come in many shapes and sizes. Any saree consists of two basic components—a blouse and the loose clothe which a woman wraps around herself. Sarees with collared blouses and long, draping, cloths are considered royal and are very expensive.Also, there are many sarees that have fully covering blouses that are embellished with varying colors and designs. Sometimes, women prefer wearing simple sarees in which the focus is on the print of the cloth itself rather than the different workings done over it.
